What do I do when the office is closed?

Bring your health card to every appointment and give it to reception when you arrive. If you have changed your address or your telephone number please also notify reception of this. Check the expiry date on your card and arrange for a new one before it expires. You must notify the OHIP office if your card is lost, stolen, you have a change of address, or your card is expired.

Renewing your health card is FREE.  Please see the Ministry website for more information here.

Rostered patients of any of the physicians of the Central Hastings Family Health Team can attend the after hours clinics.

These operate on a first come, first served basis (barring emergencies). They operate almost every weekday. When they are in Madoc they operate from 5-8, and when they are in Marmora, they run from 6-8. The days of the week and place of clinic do change on a rotating basis, so it is best to call ahead and check the phone attendant at 613 472 2552 or check the CHFHT website.

Outside of regular clinic hours, rostered patients may attend any of the after hours clinics held in Marmora or Madoc. Outside of this you may contact 1-866-553-7205. This phone number will connect you to a registered nurse who will assess your concerns.
